Refunds and cancellation
Last updated: 2026-10-05
Paid plans are sold by Paddle, the Merchant of Record. Refunds and withdrawals are handled by Paddle under its own policy. This page explains how that works for WickLogs and what we add on top.
1. Who handles what
You buy from Paddle, not from WickLogs. Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) and Refund Policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) apply to your purchase. If this page and Paddle's terms differ, Paddle's terms apply to the purchase, and your mandatory consumer rights always apply.
To cancel, withdraw or ask for a refund, use the link in your Paddle receipt, or go to https://paddle.net. EU consumers also get a withdrawal button in the Paddle customer portal during the 14-day period.
2. Cancelling a subscription (Pro)
You can cancel Pro at any time in the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You keep access until then and are not charged again.
Paying for a period does not entitle you to a partial refund of that period, except where the law or Paddle's policy gives you one.
3. 14-day withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, Switzerland or the UK, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction and get a full refund, without giving a reason. This applies to a one-time purchase (Lifetime) and to the first payment of a subscription. It does not apply to later subscription renewals, except as Paddle's policy says.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that you have started to download or use after you expressly agreed to give up the right. Paddle's policy describes this, and the checkout shows it to you.
A refund ends your access to the paid plan.
4. What WickLogs adds
Beyond the legal minimum, WickLogs offers a goodwill refund window of [[GOODWILL_REFUND_DAYS]] days from purchase. To use it, email info@wicklogs.com with your Paddle receipt. We ask Paddle to refund you. The refund itself is paid out by Paddle.
This goodwill window is an offer on top of your rights. It never reduces them.
5. If something is wrong with the Service
If the Service is defective or not as described, you have statutory rights, such as having it put right, a price reduction or ending the contract. Write to info@wicklogs.com and we will deal with it. These rights are not limited by anything on this page.
6. Lifetime plan
Lifetime means the lifetime of the product, not of the buyer. What happens if WickLogs is discontinued is set out in the Terms of Service, section 5.
7. Taxes
Businesses that were charged VAT or similar sales tax may be able to get it back. Ask Paddle within 60 days of the transaction. Paddle's Buyer Terms explain how.
