Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is a trading journal and analytics tool. It is not a broker, exchange, or investment adviser.

2. The Service and Beta Status

WickLogs provides tools to capture, store, and review trading data and orderflow analytics. The Service is currently offered in beta. Beta features are provided "as is," may change or be discontinued at any time, and may contain errors. We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.

3. Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly at info@wicklogs.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your Data and the License You Grant Us

You retain ownership of the trading data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant WickLogs a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, process, reproduce, analyze, pseudonymize, aggregate, and create derivative works from your trading data in order to operate, improve, and commercialize the Service.

You acknowledge and, where required by law, consent that we sell and license pseudonymized trading data derived from your use of the Service to third parties, including hedge funds and financial institutions, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of this sale and sharing at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to submit the data you provide and that doing so does not violate any agreement you have with your broker, proprietary trading firm, or any other third party.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Access the Service using automated means except as we expressly permit.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by WickLogs and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

7. No Financial Advice

WickLogs is a data and analytics tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Trading futures and other instruments involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes.

8. Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and brokers (such as Quantower, ATAS, and Tradovate). We are not responsible for those third parties, their availability, or their terms. Your use of them is governed by their own agreements.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT YOUR DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR PRESERVED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WICKLOGS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WickLogs from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including the license over data already shared, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Hungary, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You may have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence that these Terms do not override.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
